From a Press Release from the Renbrook School:

In his role as Abraham Lincoln, Renbrook Dean of Students Howard Wright will join Lincoln biographer Michael Burlingame on the Faith Middleton Show, Monday, June 22 at 3 and 10 p.m. on 90.5 FM and other Connecticut Public Radio stations.

Both Wright and Burlingame co-chair the Connecticut Lincoln Bicentennial Commission: Howard, as a Lincoln presenter, Michael as Lincoln historian and author of the recently released book, Abraham, Lincoln: A Life.

In this two-volume biography, Burlingame presents new information on Lincoln, based on research gleaned from smaller, more local newspapers and other primary sources. Michael is professor emeritus at Connecticut College and has written 12 books on Lincoln.

As part of Faith Middleton's promotion of "staycations" this summer, Wright will suggest the Lincoln Bicentennial Civil War Encampment which will take place July 18-19 at Fort Trumbull State Park in New London.

Dressed as Lincoln and speaking in Abe's authentic Kentucky accent, Renbrook's Wright will be reviewing the troops, reciting the Gettysburg Address and the Second Inaugural Address, and overseeing a Gatling Gun and repeating rifle demonstration at this encampment. Michael Burlingame will also attend and sign copies of his book. There will be over 70 military and Civil War historians attending the event.
