The West Hartford Board of Education heard a long awaited presentation regarding the steps taken to address a recent bullying and substance abuse survey. The Board also discussed the racial imbalance issue and plans to hold a policy discussion on the matter February 25th.

On Monday, January 18th, West Hartford held its 14th annual celebration of the life of Martin Luther King. Each year the event that pays tribute to Dr. King’s ideals and vision grows more popular and inspiring. The 2010 keynote speaker was Pamela Trotman Reid, President of Saint Joseph College.
