Comedy Comes to Playhouse on Park

We received the following press release from Playhouse on Park:

Take a break from Thanksgiving preparations and head to Playhouse on Park fo some comic relief! The first of four upcoming comedy nights is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25th at 8pm, featuring Billy Winn, Linda Belt and Howie Mason. Tickets are $15, general admission; mature audiences only. For tickets call 860-523-5900 ext 10, visit www.playhouseonpark.org or stop by the box office Tue – Sat 10am – 6pm. Playhouse on Park – your new destination for the performing arts, is located at 244 Park Road in West Hartford (next to AC Petersens).

Billy Winn has worked with Chicago, Huey Lewis & the News, Ray Romano, Joy Behar, Sinbad, and Rosie O’Donnell. He has been seen on A&E Comedy on the Road and VH-1 Stand Up Spotlight. Movie credits include Blood Descendants. Howie Mason (Emcee) has performed for audiences all over the Northeast including appearances at Foxwoods and Catch a Rishing Star. He recently opened for Dom Irrera and Jimmie “JJ” Walker. West Hartford’s own Linda Belt has performed in NYC at Caroline’s Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and Headlined “Broads of Broadway” at the Laugh Factory. Linda has also appeared at the Boston Comedy Festival and the Detroit Comedy Festival.
