Two Northwest Catholic Athletes Going Division 1

Two members of the girls’ basketball team at Northwest Catholic High School, Allison Mullings and Uju Nwankwo, signed letters of intent to play for division one colleges on Wednesday, November 11.

From a news release provided by Northwest Catholic:

Allison Mullings ’10, a guard, has committed to play for Siena College in Loudonville, NY. She is the daughter of Michelle Allison of Bloomfield. Named All-Conference as a Sophomore and Junior, she was also the MVP of the NWC team last year.

Uju Nwankwo ’10, a forward, will be playing for the N.J. Institute of Technology in Newark, N.J. She is the daughter of Deacon Anthony and Mrs. Grace Nwankwo, also of Bloomfield. She was named All-Conference as a junior. She is also a member of the Varsity Volleyball team at NWC.
