Max Downtown to Host First Annual Teddy Bear Tea to Benefit the Connecticut Children's Medical Center

On Saturday, December 5, 2009 Max Downtown will welcome families as they embrace the spirit of the season at its First Annual Teddy Bear Tea.

The downtown restaurant is planning a very special dining experience in order to collect hundreds of new toys for patients at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Children attending are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy that will be donated to Connecticut Children¹s Medical Center. In return, each child will receive a signature MAX Teddy Bear.

Guests of all ages will enjoy tasty treats and traditional teas flavored with the spirit of giving. The festivities will include a child friendly menu of teddy bear-shaped sandwiches and snacks. Each child will receive a signature MAX Bear. Adults will receive a special gift courtesy of Harney Teas.

Reservations will be accepted between 1-3pm and the cost of the tickets is
$29.00 for adults and $24.00 for children 13 and under.
