Professional Guest Artist Series at Playhouse on Park Continues with the Comedy “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged”)

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) By Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Borgeson comes to Playhouse on Park as part of the Professional Guest Artist Series, January 6th through the 17th – 10 performances only!

Sixteen comedies, eleven tragedies, seven histories and assorted sonnets and poems make up this whirlwind Shakespeare-arama, performed by three frenzied actors in tights (with the help of audience members) in under 2 hours! This outrageous night of comedy includes Titus Andronicus performed as a cooking show, Othello done as rap, and Hamlet performed backwards, forwards, and sideways, plus lots more. This wildly raucous romp will leave you helpless with laughter. Directed by Drama Desk Award Nominee Tom Ridgely and featuring the talent of Rich Hollman, David Salsa and Sean Harris.

Rich Hollman (AEA, AFTRA, SAG) a musician and an actor is currently a member of the house team at the Peoples Improv Theater in NYC, has performed on and off Broadway and held recurring roles on the soap operas 'Guiding Light' and 'All My Children' and has appeared on NBC's 'Law and Order', nominated for best actor in the One Act Strawberry Festival. David Salsa performed with the Oregan Shakespeare Festival; the Equalogy Educational Theatre for Social Change; and performed in New York, Los Angeles and Oregon. West Hartford's own Sean Harris has performed throughout the country including Florida Studio Theatre, Shakespeare on the Sound, The Pensylvania Shakespeare Company Festival, and the Roxy Regional Theatre.

Tickets $15 preview on January 6th; $22.50 – $32.50 January 7th – 17th, Opening Night, January 7th includes a wine & cheese social from 6pm – 7:30pm.
