“Silent Sidelines” at Sunday’s West Hartford Youth Football League Games

Some parents and spectators were getting out of control at the West Hartford Youth Football League. The interfering chatter, yelling, catcalling and cheering from the spectators to the coaches and players has resulted in silent sidelines for all eight teams at the mites and pee-wee levels. We spoke to coach Bob LaRaia about the circumstances and the first silent football game of the season.
