West Hartford Completes Election Audit

West Hartford completed its audit of three voting precincts that were randomly selected by the Secretary of the State’s office for a manual recount. We talked to town officials regarding the audit’s cost and asked if West Hartford has too many voting precincts.

Three West Hartford Voting Precincts to be Audited

West Hartford was the unlucky winner in a random drawing conducted on Wednesday, November 10th, to determine voting precincts subject to audit following last week’s election. Three of West Hartford’s voting districts were randomly selected by Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz, and the town will have to fund the manual counting of nearly two thousand paper ballots.
