WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer “Top Line Business Strategies” as the next program in their 10-Month Breakfast Seminar Series Train Your People, Grow Your Business. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010.

Presented by Chip Janiszewski of Chip Janiszewski Enterprises, LLC, this seminar will focus on how to identify your most profitable products and services, identifying potential customers to sell to and developing a plan to get and maintain these customers as clients.

Sponsored by TD Bank, and is in partnership with the Small Business Administration, “Top Line Business Strategies” will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. at the West Hartford Town Hall, Room 400, 50 South Main Street, West Hartford, CT. West Hartford Chamber Hosting Seminar on Employee Motivation Wednesday

The West Hartford Chamber still has seats available for an upcoming seminar on employee motivation. The presenter will be Eleta Jones from the University of Hartford’s Center for Professional Development. The seminar takes place tomorrow, November 18th, at 7:30 a.m.

The New Green Tea House Brings Authentic Chinese Teas to West Hartford

On Thursday, November 5, it was tea time with a purpose at the grand opening of the Green Tea House in Blue Back Square.

A percentage of the new store’s sales for the day benefited the West Hartford Kiwanis Club Community Service Foundation. Store owner Ting Chaponis was welcomed by the Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Slifka at a ribbon cutting ceremony.

West Hartford Chamber to Host 23rd Annual Golf Tournament

The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce will host its 23rd annual golf tournament on September 14th. Cost is $195 per golfer. From the Chamber’s site:

This year’s outing, presented by CT Self Stor, will include many exciting features including free chair massage, on-course frozen drinks, cocktail hour music, and a stationed dinner! Joining us this year will be celebrity guest and emcee Damon Scott, Disc Jockey, 96.5 WTIC – FM. The golf outing will begin with registration and a BBQ lunch at 11:00 AM. Golfers will enjoy a scramble style tournament with myriad contests, on-course snacks and beverages along the way. Golfers will have the opportunity to win $50,000 in the Jet Blue Challenge Final Hole Shoot-Out! Dinner will begin at 6:00PM offering golfers a fajita station, carved-to-order prime rib, and much, much more! West Hartford Chamber Helps Businesses Network Through the Rough Economy

The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce is keeping businesses busy this summer by hosting a number of networking events. Thursday night the Playhouse on Park theater hosted the Chamber’s monthly Business After Hours event. The theater was filled with handshakes, card exchanges, and of course food.

The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce has 650 members (including LocalOnlineNews.TV) from 25 surrounding communities. The next business after hours will be held at Home Design District. Those interested in joining the Chamber of Commerce can get more information on their website.
